Introduction

Mamadog was first started in year 2000 as a service for friends and families only. Then by mid-2001, we started providing cage-less homebased boarding professionally.

Mamadog operates based on the principle that dogs are not just pets but they are part of the family! Hence, we do our best to provide a 'home' environment for each furkids that come to stay with us. At Mamadog, there are no cages instead they are given a room to stay. And every now and then, there will be supervised run in the garden. All furkids will be walked in the morning and evening.

We are, however, extremely selective of the furkids that are allowed to stay with us, to maintain a healthy and friendly environment. All furkids that stay with us are not larger than medium large breed, healthy, friendly and house trained.

How we started Mamadog

Partly due to our love for dogs. But we also it is due to Puppy aka Lucky (our inspection officer). He actually helped to make the 'final' decision. Once we left him at a vet during a 2 days outstation trip, only to come back to a very sad, sickly dog and very badly infested with ticks and fleas. The sight of him make us vowed never ever to send him to a vet or a pet shop for boarding. And because of that, we could not go anywhere unless there is someone (trustable) to look after Puppy. Hence, realizing the situation of boarding facilities in Malaysia, we decided to start Mamadog so that furkids can get to have a 'holiday' of their own too.
